  • Fizz is a discussion and news feed for your community, whether that's your college or city. On Fizz, you can create text, image, or video posts, directly message other users, create polls, and more. With every post or comment, you control your identity and can share with a handle or anonymously. Fizz also allows you to connect across communities to connect with people like you around the country.

    If you are a college student, your community is closed and the privacy of the community is maintained through the requirement of a valid university email or proof of enrollment.

  • We take your privacy and safety very seriously. Fizz does not and will never sell your personal information to third parties.

    Fizz is currently not affiliated with any school or institution, and Fizz will never disclose your identity or anonymous posts unless required by law enforcement to ensure the safety of our communities. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.

  • Our team collaborates with security professionals to ensure adherence to industry-standard security protocols, guaranteeing that no one outside of Fizz administrators can access your personal information. For specifics on how we protect your information, see our Security Practices.

  • No. Other users can not see your identity unless you choose to reveal your identity within the app. Your phone number and email address used for account creation remain invisible to other users, including moderators.

  • Fizz was created to be an uplifting digital space for Gen Z and a go-to destination to stay updated on all things in your community, whether in college or beyond. Users can share and engage through photos, memes, GIFs, polls, and more. We strictly prohibit posting private information about users, bullying, hate speech, and obscene text or images.

    Fizz prides itself on keeping the identity and data of its users safe. All users agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service before joining.

  • We recruit a team of volunteer moderators from each Fizz community. Moderators see exactly what any other user can see, except that they have the ability to remove posts that violate our Community Guidelines.

    All moderators undergo training to ensure objectivity. Given that Fizz's moderation operates through a democratic voting system, no single moderator can unilaterally remove any post or content.

  • To ensure the safety of our college communities and restrict access exclusively to verified members, we require college users to confirm an email address with the .edu domain corresponding to their school or by providing a valid proof of enrollment.

  • No, Fizz is not affiliated with any educational institution. Your school will never have access to anything you do on Fizz, save for instances of legal intervention (e.g., subpoenas, preservation requests, etc.).

  • Fizz does not and will never sell your personal information to third parties.

  • We primarily monetize through brand partnerships, where brands reach students through native ads, polls, and campaigns on Fizz.
